Built on conviction,
not just code.

We believe technology is not the goal — people are. Every line of code we write begins with a human question.

🔥

Mission

To design and deploy AI-powered products that address real challenges in education, agriculture, healthcare, local business and so on. We are making technology work for communities that are often overlooked; and as such we believe AI is the way forward for all under-resourced areas. A chance for us not to catch up; but to pivot, to a path that is both applicable and sustainable for us.

👁️

Vision

A future where communities in Uganda and Africa at large have access to intelligent, affordable tools that amplify our human potential; where technology serves people.

🌍

Community-First

Success is measured by impact, not metrics. If our tools do not make life better, we have failed.

🤝

Accessible by Design

Built for real African conditions — low bandwidth, affordable devices, real constraints.

why AI-First

Artificial Intelligence & the African Context

Every product we build is powered by AI — not as a buzzword, but as a practical tool for access and equity. We believe AI is not something that will simply happen to Africa; it is something we must actively be part of. If we build with intention, context, and care, we can shape how it serves our people. From AI tutors aligned with local curricula to AI agents that support local businesses, we are focused on making advanced AI work for everyday African lives.

Products born from
real problems.

We don't start with technology. We start with the question: who is struggling, why and what can we do about it?

the problem
"Quality education and individual attention is a luxury most Ugandan students cannot afford. With over 50% of secondary school students enrolled in overcrowded public schools and teacher-to-student ratios often exceeding 1:50 or more, personalized support becomes difficult to deliver. As a result, many learners are left behind—not because they lack potential, but because the system struggles to meet their individual needs."

the problem
"Local businesses are often invisible online, customers struggle to find them when they search. In fact, most people search online first before visiting a local business, yet many small businesses lack proper websites, listings, or any digital presence. This gap means opportunities are missed—not because the demand isn’t there, but because the connection between businesses and customers isn’t being made."
Business IBU Directory

An AI-powered business directory connecting local service providers with customers across Uganda.

the problem
"Farms often run on memory and guesswork. Records are rarely kept, and when they are, they’re easily lost or incomplete. This is a widespread challenge; a large share of smallholder farmers operate without formal record-keeping, making it difficult to track costs, yields, or profits. As a result, losses that could be prevented through simple tracking, planning, and data-driven decisions continue to go unnoticed."
Agriculture Digital Farm

An offline-friendly farm records tool for livestock operations.

"Paper invitations are wasteful, expensive, sometimes late, and a wreck to the environment. They can’t update, they can’t confirm attendance, and they often rely on a lot to reach everyone on time. In a world where everything else is instant, relying on paper creates delays, lost opportunities, and unnecessary costs—turning something as simple as inviting people into a logistical problem."
Productivity E-Invite

A mobile-first progressive web app for seamless, beautiful digital event invitations.

the problem
"Businesses often rely on static websites or basic chatbots that struggle to truly help when a customer needs support, meaning a large portion of support queries remain unresolved by automated systems alone. The result is missed sales, frustrated users, and support teams overwhelmed by repetitive questions—because the system isn’t designed to understand, adapt, or resolve real customer needs in context."
AI Solutions AI Customer Agent

AI-powered customer service agents providing personalised support for Ugandan businesses.

A note from the founder.

Domus Dei Tech started with a simple truth: the most powerful technology in the world often doesn’t reach the people who need it most. In Uganda, and across much of Africa, talent is not the problem, access is. Brilliant minds are limited not by ambition, but by tools that don’t fit their reality.

We started building not from technical know-how; but from need; a need for educational apps that work offline; a need for AI tools that run on affordable devices and actually impact our society; a need for business solutions designed for local markets. Every product we create is a step toward a bigger goal: building technology that actually serves people. Technology that begins with understanding real human needs, before a single line of code is written.

But this isn’t something we want to do alone. If you’re building, if you’re learning, if you believe in using technology to solve our problems — reach out. I am a firm believer that without the private sector we shall unfortunately fall behind on this. So let’s build something together, learn from each other, and create solutions that matter for our communities and our future.

Special call-out to schools, as you are the gardens of the future — the places where ideas are planted, nurtured, and shaped into the next generation of thinkers, builders, and leaders. If we want to see real change, it starts with how we teach, how we learn, and the tools we give our students today. Please reach out and we engineer the future together.
